BRAND IDENTITY

In addition to being simultaneously hilarious and adored, Ellen is equally design savvy. When we met she was eager to apply that sensibility to her first line of product — a wide range of apparel and home goods — and I was tasked with creating the identity. Stacking the letter’s “ED” forced them apart and into a more graphic configuration. The Didot typeface gave the brand automatic elegance and refinement, and would also be a suitable juxtaposition to Ellen’s playful and warm sense of design.
